Sierra Madre Birds

We went birding in the Sierra Madre mountains of Nueva Ecija with Tina and Wency Mallari and Franco. We drove along the mostly dirt road that leads from Bongabon to Aurora. There were big flowering trees all along the sides of the road. The area looked lush and green. There were also several streams crossing the road and a river in the valley below. Sadly, we also saw signs of logging. We heard a chainsaw. We also followed one of trails leading from the road into the woods and saw a lot of tree stumps.
