This is a noisy and common bird found in forest edges, second growth, and lowlands.
The first time we saw this bird was at the Mt. Canlaon and we got better pictures in Twin Lakes. Our target bird did not show up so we took some pictures of the Bulbul. It is a good thing because the bird was recently split from the Philippine Bulbul and is now a separate species.
