Family Cettidae
Bird #232 - January 2010
This is a fairly common resident bird. It is small, about 4 1/2 inches.
We were on our way back to Manila from Sagada. We had our cameras ready in the car in case we saw some interesting birds on the road. We were also hoping to take pictures of a Crossbill, but we didn't see one. There was a bush with a lot of bird sounds. We were looking at Elegant Tits and Blue Headed Fantails when the when this bird suddenly and very briefly showed up.
It is a noisy bird and has a song that sounds like, "I can see you, you can't see me."
We got some good photos in Baguio.
