This is a Philippine endemic. It measures 4 3/4 inches long. It is described in the Kennedy guide as "uncommon and shy". It has a few different calls including a loud, continuous, one-note, piercing call shown in the video below. It is a skulker, usually moving surreptitiously through the undergrowth.
