Birds of the Philippines
Photos and videos of wild birds found in the Philippines. We travel all over the Philippines to document and take pictures of birds. Our goal is to make this site a resource of information and images about wild birds of the Philippines.
Our bird photos are organized by family and then by species. Every species has its own gallery with a description of the bird, notes on our first sighting, and photos of the bird. We try to include photos of male, female, juvenile, breeding and non-breeding plumage.
We have updated our checklist and are now following the Wild Bird Club of the Philippines - Checklist of Birds of the Philippines 2018. The taxonomic treatment in the WBCP Checklist follows Gill F & D Donsker (Eds) 2018. IOC World Bird List (v 8.1).
