The first time we saw a Pied Triller was on the golf course. We usually bird there when its closed, but on that day the golf course was open. We were sitting in the out of bounds area near hole #4, trying to avoid the golfers and we spotted the Pied Triller, against the sun, on a tree! We had been "looking" for this bird before .. esp in Caylabne. Since our first sighting we have been seeing them in many places around the village.
It is about the size of a Yellow Vented Bulbul. In birding " pied" means "black and white". The female has faint brown bars on its chest, the male has an all white chest.
