This is called Blue Fantail Rhipidura supercilaris in the Kennedy guide. Listed in the Kennedy guide are three races: samarensis, apo, and superciliaris. Following the taxonomic treatment in the WBCP 2013 Checklist which follows the IOC World Bird List v 3.5, Blue Fantail was split into two species: Mindanao Blue Fantail which includes subspecies apo and superciliaris and Visayan Blue Fantail.
