This is the description in the Kennedy guide: "Rare in the middle and upper stories of forest and second growth in small groups from lowlands to high mountains."
We went to Baguio in October and December 2016 hoping to see this bird. Rob H said that this one is an over-wintering bird. Tonji saw a female while we were looking for the Benguet Bush Warbler. Later saw the male and heard it calling. It mostly stayed in the upper parts of the trees.
