Tonji and I split up. I went with Irwin, the guide. He told me to wait while he checked out the stream for kingfishers. When Irwin called me to follow him, I found him standing IN the water! I thought, "uh oh, Tonji won't be happy seeing him standing in this stream with the backpackful of gear! Later, when we did see the kingfisher and called Tonji to join us, TONJI ended up wading into the stream himself, with shoes, socks and all!!
