The male Pied Harrier has a very distinctive black and white coloration. It has a black head and white body. The female has similar coloring to the subadult Eastern Marsh Harrier. It is smaller than the Eastern March Harrier and has a distinct white rump.
This bird is also reported in Candaba, but we have not seen it there yet.
