We saw first saw this in San Juan, Batangas. Good thing there were other, more experienced birders around to identify these birds. They were mixed up with other kinds of Plovers.
Kentish Plovers have dark legs, incomplete breast band, a white collar, and a white forehead that continues into a white eyebrow. They have a shortish bill.
