The first time we saw this bird was in San Juan Batangas. One of those birds that the other more experienced birders identified, we looked at, but were not able to photograph.
The next time we saw this bird was in Candaba with Black Winged Stilts, Plovers, Little Egrets, and Greater Egrets in October 2009. We were able to take photos!
This bird is an uncommon migrant.
